Counselling

In my private practice, based in Oxford, I offer a non-judgmental professional service, in a warm and accepting environment, honouring the individuality of the client.
Before I start therapy I will try to establish a helping relationship with you in order to maintain your integrity and empowerment, without offering advice. Together, in this therapeutic environment, we will explore the issues that brought you for counselling. The aims of therapy are to gain insight into what is keeping you from achieving your goals, and to improve life satisfaction.

The most common presenting problems which I see in clients are:

Gambling addiction
Internet addiction
Video Games addiction
Depression
Stress management
Trauma Stage of life issues
Eating disorders
Interpersonal difficulties
Anxiety
Poor peer relationships
Career and work difficulties
Low self-esteem
Conflicted relationships
Self-destructive behaviour
Mood disorders
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Bereavement and Loss

I also work with those who are struggling to adjust to the reality of separation from their families, parents, divorce (attachment problems).
